Why I Chose Dentistry
I did not grow up assuming I would become a dentist, even though my dad is one.
I could always see how much he loved his work, but for a long time, I thought I was headed toward medicine. I was pre-med through most of college because I loved science and knew I wanted a career in healthcare. Over time, I realized I wanted something more hands-on. I wanted to work closely with people, solve problems in a practical way, and build relationships over time. Dentistry gave me all of that.
Looking back, it makes sense. I had a front-row seat to how rewarding this career could be.
What I Love About This Work
I love that general dentistry is never one-note. Every day is different, and every patient brings something different with them.
I especially enjoy cosmetic dentistry because even small changes can make a big difference in how someone feels. That might mean using Invisalign to help a patient straighten their smile or cosmetic bonding to repair a front tooth. I like the detail involved, but what matters most is helping someone feel good when they smile.

Fun Facts
How I Approach Patient Care
I try to take a conservative approach whenever possible. If something small needs attention, I would rather address it early than let it turn into a bigger issue later.
I also believe patients should be part of every treatment decision. My role is to explain what I see, walk through the options, and be honest about the pros and cons so you can make the choice that feels right for you. I never want patients to feel confused or pressured.
Creating a Comfortable Experience
A lot of people come in carrying anxiety about dental visits, and I take that seriously.
We work hard to understand where that fear comes from instead of brushing past it. For some people, it is a bad past experience. For others, it is the sounds, the setting, or just not knowing what to expect. Once we understand that, we can adjust the appointment in a way that helps the patient feel more comfortable.
That mindset shapes the whole office. We want people to feel at ease here, especially if going to the dentist has been difficult for them in the past.
My Practice and Community
I graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2020. I started practicing later that year, joined this office as an associate in December 2022, and became the owner in November 2025.
That history matters to me because it means I have had the chance to grow with this practice and the people in it. I am also a member of the Indiana Dental Association, the Indianapolis District Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Our office is proud to care for veterans, and we are grateful for the trust this community has placed in us.
Outside the Office
Outside of work, life is busy in the best way. I have two little boys, so most of my time away from the office is spent chasing them around.
I also enjoy golfing in the summer, skiing in the winter, and cheering for Michigan football and basketball. I went to the University of Michigan for undergrad, so that part of me is not going anywhere.
At the end of the day, I want patients to feel like they are being cared for by a real person. Someone who listens, explains things clearly, and wants them to feel comfortable every step of the way.
