What Happens at Your First Visit

Step 1

We Get You Settled

Our team will welcome you, get your paperwork sorted, and answer any questions you have before you go back. If you have kids with you, our children's play area is open and ready.

Step 2

X-rays and Photos

You will start with your hygienist, who will take a full set of X-rays, including a panoramic and bitewing series, along with full-mouth intraoral photos. These go straight up on the TV in your room so you can see everything as we do.

Step 3

Your Periodontal Exam and Cleaning

Your hygienist will measure the space between your teeth and gums, walk you through what the numbers mean, and explain what your photos are showing. Then comes your cleaning.

Step 4

Your Exam with the Doctor

Dr. Wargel or Dr. Hani will come in at the end to complete your comprehensive exam. Using your X-rays and photos on the screen, they will walk you through anything they find, explain what it means, and talk through your options before recommending anything.

Step 5

Your Treatment Plan

If treatment is needed, you will leave with a clear plan: what needs to be done, why, and what it will cost. If everything looks great, you will leave knowing that too.
